Chase Merritt, a real estate investment firm headquartered in Newport Beach, and its Chase Merritt for Charities organization hosted the first Real Estate Survivors' Holiday Bash to benefit Higher Ground with more than $50,000. The event's sole beneficiary is a program that uses sports and recreation as a means of therapy, healing and rehabilitation for members of the armed forces who have been wounded abroad. Some of the event's sponsors were Transwestern, Gibson Dunn & Crutcher, Buchanan Street Partners, Straddling Yocca, Hybrid Air and Core Advisors.
