In 2004 Chad Horning led the acquisition of the Telluride Ski and Golf Resort with his family's company, Newport Federal. The resort owns and operates the Telluride Ski Mountain and Telluride Golf Club. Additionally, the acquisition included a large portfolio of real estate located in close proximity to the resort. The resort is still owned and controlled by the Horning Family today.
